Fault Tolerance

Designed as it is to improve availability within the information system, OpenMOM greatly simplifies the installation of fault-tolerant distributed applications.

OpenMOM integrates sophisticated native failure management and services overlapping technologies that remain totally application-transparent:

- Redundant application processes can be added at any time.

-OpenMOM mirror brokers.

-Automatic component reconnection (to newly started brokers or to mirror ones).

-Different routes can be created between components.

-Replicated logging of messages (as many as four log files can be specified for each service message box).
